Ed Kainen is a member of the Council of the American Bar Association’s Family Law Section.  The Council is the governing body of the organization. Founded in 1958, the Section of Family Law has more than 10,000 lawyer, associate and law student members across the country and worldwide. Members are dedicated to serving the field of family law in areas such as adoption, divorce, custody, military law, alternative families and elder law.

Andrew Kynaston named Chair of J. Reuben Clark Law Society – Las Vegas Chapter

On September 1, 2011, Andrew Kynaston was named the Chair of the Las Vegas Chapter of the J. Reuben Clark Law Society.  Andrew will serve in that position for a period of two years.  Among his primary goals as Chair of the Chapter is to encourage members to participate in pro bono activities.

In the U.S., Best Lawyers publishes an annual referral guide, The Best Lawyers in America.

Ed Kainen named a Nevada Super Lawyer for 5th consecutive year.

Ed Kainen once again named a “2011 Super Lawyer” by Super Lawyer Magazine. Ed has been named a Nevada Super Lawyer or Mountain States Super Lawyer every year since 2007. Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process is multi-phased and includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations. Each candidate is evaluated on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. elections are made on an annual, state-by-state basis. The objective is to create a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of outstanding attorneys that can be used as a resource for attorneys and consumers searching for legal counsel. New Jersey Supreme Court upheld the findings of a Special Master assigned by the court to, among other things, examine the details of the process of selecting “Super Lawyers”. In his July 2008 report, the Special Master lauded the lawyer-rating process, stating: “It is absolutely clear from this record that [Super Lawyers does] not permit a lawyer to buy one’s way onto the list, nor is there any requirement for the purchase of any product for inclusion in the lists or any quid pro quo of any kind or nature associated with the evaluation and listing of an attorney or in the subsequent advertising of one’s inclusion in the lists.”

Kainen Law Group is celebrating the opening of the new office at 10091 Park Run Drive, Suite 110, in the plaza on the Northwest corner of Charleston Boulevard and Hualapai Way (one mile East of the Red Rock Casino at Charleston and I-215).

Ed Kainen celebrates 12 years with the top AV Rating.

Ed Kainen just celebrated 12 years as an “AV” rated lawyer by Martindale-Hubbell. The AV rating shows that a lawyer has reached the height of professional excellence; has usually practiced law for many years, and is recognized for the highest levels of skill and integrity.

Andrew Kynaston is again named a Super Lawyer “Rising Star”.

Andrew Kynaston was name a “2011 Rising Star” by Super Lawyer Magazine for the second consecutive year.  Rising Stars are the best attorneys who are 40 or under, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less.  A research team reviews the credentials of potential candidates and assigns points based on a set of defined evaluation criteria. No more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are named to the list.
